Grandma H took the boys to the zoo this morning, so I had a few hours without two active boys on my hands. I planned to clean a couple of bathrooms and sweep the kitchen floor. Instead, I nursed and cuddled my baby girl all morning. I finally put her in her bassinet fifteen minutes before the boys arrived back home. I did sweep the floor in that time!
She loves being walked around the house in her sling to go to sleep. She just stares up at me until her eyelids become too heavy. I love staring back at her, although it's not always possible as I have to watch out for all the miscellaneous items the boys have strewn all over the floor.
She also loves curling up into a ball on my chest and having me pat and rub her back. I rest my chin on the top of her head, rock in my Laz-y-boy and listen to my music. Heavenly.
Definitely a morning well spent.
