An Exhausting Day

Yesterday, my little angel decided to eat every two hours and only nap for maybe a half hour at a time between feeds. After nursing, burping, pooping, and changing diapers, there wasn't much time before she was fussing to be put back to sleep. This continued all day. We went to IKEA in the afternoon because I had a doctor's information session to go to, which turned out to be an hour and a half in a boiling hot room. It was not fun having a fussing, then sleeping, then nursing baby in there, even sitting right by the fan. Then she still went at it until 1am when Daddy finally got her down for the "night." She still got up at her usual 5:30am. Sigh...

She has been a lot better today, but I feel like I should knock on wood. Oops... I hear her crying now.

More special words from the boys:
"Kitten pool" for the kids pool at Southland Leisure Centre.
"Mystery mark" for a question mark.

Michael talking about his first day of camp:
"We had a race."
Dad, remembering not to promote competition by asking if he won, replies, "Was it fun?"
Michael: Yes, I was the fastest. Well, some other boys were faster.
I think we need to work on his comparitives...
